Why we created Print You Love

Our first experience with printing started way back in 1998 while fiddling around with finishing machines such as the perforating machine, the scoring machine, and the numbering machine.

We have since come a long way from finishing machines to large offset and digital printing for various clients within Nigeria and West Africa among which are Central Bank of Nigeria, Domino’s Pizza, Coldstone Creamery, PayPorte, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (Abuja Chapter) and Studio 24, among many others.

Being a group of brand design and communication specialists ourselves, we wondered why many of our colleagues were not tapping into the gold mine of the printing industry. 

However, as Thomas Edison rightly said,

Being a group of brand design and communication specialists ourselves, we wondered why many of our colleagues were not tapping into the gold mine of the printing industry. 

We wanted to be sure why, so we asked a random sample of designers why they don’t print, and in summary, they all said: 

• A lot of risks are involved.
• They lack knowledge.
• Not having the experience.
• They cannot stress themselves.
• It scares the sh*t outta me.
• Designers don’t find it important to MAKE FRIENDS with printers.
• They don’t know there are some cool financial benefits.
• Loss of income and client due to my past experience.
• Afraid to handle the prints. Just because the prints are wide.
• Ashamed to be called Printer.
• Ignorant of the fact that Printing is lucrative.
• No design training for print.

Providing a solution to the various pain-points of designers led us into creating a place for print education and high-quality prints without risks so designers can confidently offer their clients more thereby earning more money.
